Berlin Travel Guide
Spring is a wonderful time to visit, as the parks are in full bloom and Berliners emerge from winter hibernation. By May, you’ll notice that Berliners temporarily cast aside their otherwise cool and detached demeanour as their city once again turns green and the air pleasant. The air, which is known throughout Germany as the famous Berliner Luft, makes everyone heady with anticipation of the summer ahead.
The city enjoys sunny summers with long days and temperatures sometimes exceeding 30°C. The weather can be somewhat unpredictable during the summer though with days rapidly changing from sunny to overcast. Rainfall can be expected all year round, but the wettest months are normally June and August; with the driest typically October and February.
