The tiny spa village of Stadtkyll is constituted as a part of a collective municipality in the Rhineland-Palatinate State's Vulkanefiel district. This district is known for its ongoing volcanic activity as well as for its stunning geological and geographical features, with hot springs providing the perfect location for the medicinal health spas that are much loved by the German people. Nestling in the river valley, the pretty white-painted village is home to just 1,486 permanent residents. However, Stadtkyll hotels, according to German tourism records, receive around 70,000 tourists every year. Most of the buildings of historic interest here are churches dating between the 17th and early 19th centuries, although there's plenty natural beauty in this unique region to inspire walkers, hikers and outdoor sports lovers.
