Introduction to Singen, Germany
Lake Constance is bordered by Germany, Switzerland and Austria. On the German side of the lake, the city of Singen can be found. It has a rich history, being the city that many prisoners of war escaped through into Switzerland during WWII. The majority of Singen hotels are located in the city, just a short drive away from the lake, and all are modestly priced. Visitors to the city will be captivated by its surrounding beauty, and a large part of area's splendour is owed to Lake Constance. With a backdrop of stunning views of the German Alps by the water's edge, visitors can partake in a variety of water sport activities. For those seeking culture, Hohentwiel, a volcanic stub, is close by, where visitors can view the remains of an old German fort. Further down the road from Singen on the E54 is the town of Friedrichstein, the birthplace of the Zeppelin balloon. It is possible to visit the Zeppelin Museum here to uncover the history of this invention. other spellings: singenhotels, otelin singin, singen hotell, sengen hote, singen hotes, singen hotle
