Introduction to Memmingen, Germany
The gateway to surrounding areas of natural beauty such as the large and lovely Lake Constance and the Bavarian Alps, the city of Memmington is perhaps best known for its old town area. Featuring colourful well-preserved houses, this district is ideal for exploring on foot, and many of the buildings here have been converted into Memmington hotels, which are great places to spend the night. Visitors will want to start their trip to the city by wandering around the market place, which is surrounded by interesting old buildings such as the townhouse, the Großzunft and the Steuerhaus, while the nearby St Martin's church is also worth exploring.
