Introduction to Mainz, Germany
Mainz is a historic city on the River Rhine, close to Wiesbaden, in the western German state of Rhineland Palatinate. Mainzer Dom, the 1,000 year old enchanting Mainz Cathedral is the focal point of the city and has a few hotels dotted around it.
