Introduction to Mainz - City Centre
The German city of Mainz is located in the west of the country’s centre, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Sitting along the River Rhone, Mainz was once the northernmost point of the Roman Empire. Mainz hotels are available to suit differing budgets and offer excellent access to the city of Wiesbaden, which lies across the Rhone River.
