Introduction to Essen - Bottrop
With its museums, churches and other beautiful buildings, Germany's Bottrop is sure to offer a satisfying holiday. The famous artist Josef Albers hailed from the Ruhr Industrial area, within which Bottrop sits, and a visit to the Qadrat Museum is a must for lovers of his work. Also of interest are the Stolperstein (plaques) that have been placed throughout the industrial area and the city of Essen by the artist Gunter Demnig to commemorate those that perished in or escaped the Holocaust. One of the biggest draws here is Schloss Beck castle and amusement park, which is especially great for those on family holidays. The Movie Theme Park Germany is another famed local attraction that can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages. There is no shortage of Bottrop hotels to suit all sorts of budgets. It is possible to practise skiing before hitting the real slopes at the city's Alpincenter. other spellings: botrop otel, bodtrop hotell, bottrup hote, bottrob hotles, botrob hotle, buttrop hotes
