Dachau in Germany's northern Bavaria is best known for its tragic history as the site of a Nazi concentration camp, the location of which today is a memorial that sees thousands of annual visitors. While the town is usually visited as a daytrip from Munich, just over 10 miles to the southeast, there are Dachau hotels on hand for those who wish to overnight here.
