The city of Brem is situated on the River Weser in northwest Germany. Its traditional old town offers a mix of culture, shopping and impressive buildings for the tourist to admire. The market square, where the Town Hall is located - a building that has an impressive wine cellar and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site - is particularly popular. There are also statues dedicated to the Grimm Brother's fairy tales in the square. Close by is the Cathedral of St Petri, while Brem also has some great museums, especially the Universum Science Centre, a modern science museum. Brem hotels are plentiful, and there is a good mix of modern and traditional structures to select from. Many of the hotels help their guests by renting bicycles to aid them in getting around. Many visitors enjoy seeing Brem's fantastic botanical garden, which is located within the city's well-kept Rhododendron Park.
