Introduction to Bramow, Germany
One of the largest cities in Germany, Rostock is the location of Bramow, a small northerly suburb of the city. It is handily connected by tram to the centre of Rostock, and staying here is more laid-back than overnighting in the main part of the city. Bramow sits right next to the River Warnow, on its west bank, and it is possible to take a boat along the river to Rostock or to go in the other direction towards the Baltic Sea. There are a handful of Bramow hotels, and although the majority can be found in the centre of Rostock, accommodation on the outskirts easily competes with central hotels in terms of service and comfort. Take a short tram ride into Rostock for sightseeing. New Market Square lies at the centre of the city, which features much Baroque-style architecture. There is also a fantastic shopping street called Kropeliner Strasse, which leads out from the square.
