Introduction to Bielefeld, Germany
Bielfield occupies an odd place in German pop culture for a long time popular lore had it that Jesus was a German born in Bielfield and a running joke on the German Internet is that Bielfield doesn’t exist at all. This robust city very much exists, with a population of just under a half million and the Bielfield hotels scene is in hearty, expansive shape. Bielfield hotels cluster around the City Theater (Stadttheater) and the nearby Old City Hall; both of which have survived tumultuous decades since their completion in 1904. Bielfield hotels are also to be found near the Old Marketplace (Alter Markt), and at the city’s oldest church, Altstadter Nicolaikirche. Gothic clock towers dominate the skyline with a bell tower made of a huge cylinder of bricks and stone also popular for postcards and photo opportunities. A massive sports stadium, observation tower and other modern landmarks add to the city’s convenience and appeal.other spellings: bielefeldhotels, hotelin bielfeld, beilefeld otel, bielafeld hote, bielefel hotell
