Best Western Hotel Obermuehle - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

A very traditional bavarian style hotel.

The bedrooms vary a lot in size but on average they are large. All are comfortably furnished in a rather dated style with plain old fashioned colourschemes. Most rooms have balcony, and all are pleasantly light due to large windows. The rooms are in good condition though the bathrooms are only fair.

The hotel has a gourmet restaurant, "Muehlenstube", decorated with heavy wooden beams and murals on the walls. The "Muehlenradl" is less formal and offers bavarian specialities in a rustic atmosphere. There are also the "nikolaus-stube", the "katharinenstube" and the "Bauernstube" restaurants.

The lobby is medium sized and cosily and attractively furnished. It has a small seating area.

The building has two wings, the main (older) one being in traditional bavarian style with a sloping roof and flower lined wooden balconies. The other wing is more modern, but is also bavarian in style.
