Best Western Hotel Hofgut Sternen - Titisee

The hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the black forest in traditional style.

The medium sized rooms are decorated with pine panelling, pine beds and furniture and have pretty picture windows. Those in the main building are in very good condition, whilst some of the rooms in the annexe are in fair condition. The same goes for the bathrooms.

The restaurant which is located in the main building has a tiled floor. The walls, ceiling, and furniture are all of pine.

The lobby is in the main building and is very traditional with exposed timber beams and a tiled floor.

The hotel consists of two buildings of traditional black forest style with wooden balconies overflowing with flowers. Many famous people have stayed here including Marie Antoinette, Goethe and Trollop. A third traditionally styled building houses a cuckoo clock "factory" and a restaurant often used for lunch stops.
