From Berlin main train station (Lehrter Bahnhof), take the S-Bahn to Friedrichstraße and take the exit in the same direction as the train. Turn left on Friedrichstraße over the Spree river in the direction of the Friedrichstadtpalast, turning left after this onto Ziegelstraße. From Schönefeld airport, take the S9 or either the RE4 or RE5 express train, alight in the direction of travel and turn left onto Friedrichstraße. Cross the Spree river in the direction of the Friedrichstadtpalast (on the right-hand side) and turn right onto Ziegelstraße.
