Golf: is very popular in this part of France, partly thanks to the agreeable weather and the many excellent courses. The oldest club in the Riviera is the Golf Bastide du Roi, which is located just outside Nice on the seafront. The lynx style course is open to non-members and reservations are not necessary.

Diving: Nice may not be known as a top diving resort but there are some good dive sites should you be visiting. Several scuba centres can be found offering courses and dive trips, and experience is not necessary.
