Train journey: children will love an exciting train journey from Tournon to Lamastre driven. Operated by the Chemin de Fer du Vivarais, the train serves the railway located in a charming part of the Doux Valley. Expect to see many spectacular natural spots of the countryside throughout the journey.
Walking tour: join a walking tour provided by the Lyon Tourist Office for a detailed view of the city. Guided tours are organised to the Renaissance district of Lyon as well as many historic sites. Alternatively, you can also opt for the tours of pœetry, images and art around the city.
Shopping: one of the must-do activities in Lyon is to go on a shopping tour. Rue Victor Hugo and rue de la Republique are the best known for their active shopping streets. For less sophisticated atmosphere, head to a local bouchon, a small traditional restaurant with pretty interiors, serving local specialties.
Casino: those who want to gamble the night away should head to the only casino in Lyon, Le Lyon Vert. The casino is equipped with hundreds of machines, tables for blackjack and stud poker as well as roulette wheels. Smart dress is required.
