Getting There

Getting to Lourdes
By air: Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrenees Airport is located about 10kms from the city and receives flights from Paris only. The airport has one passenger terminal with good facilities including short and long-term parking, a post office, auto exchange machine, restaurants, a VIP lounge, a business centre, newsagents, shops and disabled facilities. From the airport, you can use taxi services waiting at the taxi rank outside the terminal.
By train: Eurostar offers a luxurious ride from London to Paris and then to Lourdes. The train leaves from Paris Montparnasse for Lourdes, taking about eight hours. Local trains run from Pau daily taking only 30 minutes.
By bus: citybus operates a shuttle service from Lourdes station to the Grotto every 15 minutes. Buses from Lourdes bus station also leave for other cities nearby.
By taxi: taxis aren’t difficult to find in Lourdes. There are taxi ranks at the airports and the main stations. You can also call in advance and reserve your taxi.
