By rail: the nearest train station is situated three kilometres from the city centre and it provides rail connections to a wide selection of French cities and major European destinations. There are several high-speed trains a day from Paris and Lille as well as direct services to and from Madrid, Lisbon and Porto.
By bus: although there are no direct international services, you will find a few services to other towns in the Aquitaine region, from where you can take a local bus to Biarritz.
