Introduction to Vittel, France
Vittel, located in the Lorraine region of northeastern France, is a town of around 5,700 people. The town is most famous for its mineral water, which is bottled here and sold around the world. Visitors to the town have the opportunity to visit a number of spas where the town's waters are used for healing a range of medical complaints. The water is particularly efficient in helping those with stomach and liver problems. Vittel hotels offer easy access to the surrounding countryside, which hosts a number of excellent golf courses. The Ermitage course is probably the largest and the closest to the town centre, just a few minutes' drive to the north.
