Introduction to Villeferry, France

The town of Villeferry is part of the Cote d'Or department, within the Burgundy region of eastern central France. The commune is only small, with a population of about 40 residents. Tourists don't usually spend a lot of time here but there are Villeferry hotels available for those visitors spending a few days in town. The closest major road to the commune is the A6, which stands about 16kms to the southwest of the commune. Visitors can reach the town from the A6 along several roads, which include the D117B and the D905. Located around the town are several small communes that offer similar, rural town culture to embrace. To the southwest of the town is Armay sous Vitteaux, and to the north is the town of Brain. There are a number of wineries located close to the town, drawing tourists to the area. The most popular accommodation in the commune is bed and breakfasts.
