Introduction to Trouville, France
Trouville hotels are few in number as this tiny town in Normandy, in the north of France, has a population of less than a thousand people. The population swells with tourists, but not really ever enough to warrant worrying too much about being able to find a vacant room as a lot of people pass through on day trips and don’t stay the night. If you choose to stay, you will probably find yourself in one of the Trouville hotels that are adjacent to the church of St. Pierre, dating built in the 1500s, or the church of Notre-Dame, which makes St. Pierre look like it was born yesterday with stonework dating from the 1200s. There’s also a manor house that has been in continuous occupation since the 1400s and a stone cross headstone in the Trouville cemetery that dates to sometime in the 1600s.
