The town of St Georges de Rntblt is found in the northwestern region of France, in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine. There are about 1,600 people living within the town, making it just a small township. The main roadway leading through the town is the D14, which is locally known as Rue du Marechal Leclerc. It runs into Rue Julien Maunoir to the west. There are a number of small towns found just a short distance from St Georges de Rntblt, including Saint James, which is about five kilometres to the northwest of the town, and Louvigne du Desert, which sits some eight kilometres to the southeast. The E3 expressway, which is one of the largest highways running through the region of Brittany, is found about seven kilometres to the west of the town. There are some St Georges de Rntblt hotels, although tourism is low-key in the commune. There are several cafes located along the main road in town along with restaurants and other basic services.
