The town of Seyne is situated within the Alpes de Hautes department of southeastern France. It is an enchanting little township that is blessed with an unbelievably beautiful landscape and a charming town centre. There are some Seyne hotels, although only a low number of tourists enter the town each year. There are a number of small towns located around the commune. Le Serre Vinatier is just one kilometre to the northwest, L'Arenas is one kilometre to the east, and the town of Haut is found to the south of the town by about two kilometres. There are several ski fields close the town, making it a popular stop for skiers. However, it is also possible for hikers, mountain bikers and even rock climbers to find wonderful spots to enjoy these activities close to the town. Most of the town's civic services such as its restaurants, cafes, and tourist offices are located along the main street of town, the D900.
