Introduction to Sainte Radegonde, France

Holding a small population of about 1,500 inhabitants, the town of Sainte Radegonde is situated within the beautiful department of Aveyron, southern France. The town itself is a beautiful settlement even though it is small. It doesn't see many tourists; however, Sainte Radegonde hotels are nonetheless available. Getting into the commune is relatively easy as there is a large highway, the N88 or National Highway 88, which passes to the west of the town. The larger settlement of Rodez, which is home to a plethora of interesting sights, is only four kilometres to the northwest. Within the town of Sainte Radegonde is one main sight that is worth visiting. It is the fortified church known as the Church of Sainte Radegonde, which is blessed with a magnificent stone facade, not to mention an intriguing interior. The church was built in the 14th century and has evidently stood the test of time, embracing thousands of tourists every year.
