Saint Palais is a majestic commune located in the department of Cher, which is found in the centre of France. There are only a small number of people living in the commune, which isn't an overly popular tourist destination. Nevertheless, there are Saint Palais hotels available for overnight and short-stay travellers. The area is charming as there are numerous lakes, small rivers, and farmlands which make up the landscape. Additionally, there are some exciting landmarks found in the commune. One of the most interesting sights in the town is the Church of Saint Palais, which was built in the 12th century and contains a beautiful facade. There are also several castes that were built in the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries. Visitors can reach the town by car along the D940 and the D116. The closest major settlement in the region is the city of Saint Martin d'Auxigny, which stands about two kilometres to the south along the D940 highway.
