Centrally located in a pedestrianised square with a supermarket and cheap restaurant a step away, the Residence Ciel & Logis Hotel, Chamonix Mont Blanc,is 5 minutes walk from the Aguille du Midi cable car and ski buses. Most apartments require hire of bed linen, towels and TVs etc on top of rentals and, in many, the kitchens are not particularly well equipped. Some apartments, however, are clean and well set up, but this seems to be dependent on the private owners. Reception closes at 19:00, with late arrivals having problems as a result. For nightlife, the town centre is 10 minutes walk away, so the lodging district is not especially noisy.
