Pontivy is a vibrant market town located in the northwestern French region of Brittany. The town is divided into two distinct and interesting parts. The medieval area of the town, built around the 15th century Chateau des Rohans, a beautiful moated castle, is where you can view the Napoleonic influence in the streets, which have been laid in regimental lines.
