Gare St Lazare, situated two kilometres northwest of the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre museum, is one of the main Paris railway stations. The station is the second busiest in France and has trains from the English Channel ports of Dieppe and Le Havre as well as cities in the northwest region of the country. There are numerous accommodation options in the environs of the station including youth hostels and five-star Gare St Lazare hotels. Nearby brasseries and restaurants serve tasty meals, wines and beer. Shoppers will find a fair choice of shops on Rue St Lazare. The most famous shopping street in the world, Champs Elysees Avenue, is a short walk away. The Casino de Paris live entertainment venue is east of the station and beyond that is the Gustave Moreau Museum. The museum is the former abode of the artist and offers a broad spectrum of his works. The Eglise Ste Trinite, near the casino, is a majestic church topped by a lofty tower.
