Montpellier is situated to the south west of France in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. There are countless camping areas, guest houses and hotels in Montpellier and the surrounding countryside. The main area of the city is the district around the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle close to the old town and the ideal location to stay in one of the good Montpellier hotels.
