Discount Megeve France Hotels

Megeve is a French resort that has attracted the rich and famous for more than 100 years. Chalet style accommodation is popular here because of the skiing but there are several hotels in Megeve. The village is a picture postcard ski resort with a mainly pedestrianised centre where you will find a number of Megeve hotels and guest houses. Here you will also find the central square with a 13th century church as its main feature and trendy boutiques catering for the wealthy. This is a year round resort and it caters well for non-skiers with a number of alternative activities including ballooning, mountain climbing and walking. For the skiers there is in excess of 300kms of pistes ski-buses take you from the town to the principle lift stations. A few cheaper Megeve hotels can be found close to the village but this is quite an expensive area to stay.
