Introduction to Limoges, France
There are not a great number of attractions in Limoges but it is a great place to stay for a few days. A variety of hotels in Limoges can be found near the rail station and this building itself is one of the highlights of the city. The city is split into two parts; the Cite and the Chateau. These districts are worth exploring and there are decent Limoges hotels in both parts. The city is famous for china and enamel and there are museums displaying some superb examples of the city’s finest pieces. The Gothic Cathedral is a popular place for visitors as are the botanical gardens. Being situated on the Vienne River means there are some beautiful places to sit and unwind while taking in the views.
