Also known as the Lesquin Airport or the Lille-Lesquin Airport, the airport that serves the beautiful French city of Lille is only a 15-minute drive, on most occasions, from the heart of the town. More than one million passengers pass through the city airport each year, making it one of the busiest airports in the country of France. The A1 highway passes to the west of the hub, making it easy for travellers to make their way to the downtown area with cars, buses or taxi services. Just to the north of the airport is the Lille Metropolitan Golf Course, and one of the campuses for the Lille Univerity of Sciences can be found just to the east of the golf course. There are some Lille Airport hotels available for passengers to stay in so they don't have to travel away from the airport.
