It is easy to bypass the attractions of Le Havre as many visitors to France drive off the ferries here and head for other destinations in Normandy and throughout the country. The main selections of hotels in Le Havre are close to the train station where you will also find a good choice of bars and restaurants. Other Le Havre hotels are concentrated near the ferry port. There are a few places to visit in the city including several museums and excellent art galleries. In one of the squares you will find the town hall and the climb to the top of its tower is worth the effort for the panoramic views of the area.
