The riverside Le Clos de la Chapelle B&B Guest House, La Chapelle sur Loire, is a small residence with just a handful of rooms. These range from apartment style suites to romantic guest rooms with 4 poster beds. For example, the ground floor room, ‘La Chambre au Portrait’, has 1 double bedroom, which can be furnished with an extra single bed. The adjacent dining room is traditionally furnished, centring on its atmospheric open fireplace. Breakfast can be served here, or in the beautiful walled garden. In the evenings, ‘La Charetterie’ restaurant serves made to order dishes on request, all cooked with local ingredients by the wonderful in house chef. The heated swimming pool can be used all year round, with an efficient covering allowing guests to continue swimming during bad weather. However, it is worth noting that the guest house closes for the first 2 weeks of January each year.
