Le Cheval Blanc Hotel Honfleur is a quaint hotel at the centre of the town’s Old Port. The hotel is comfortable, but its main selling point is the unrivalled location. It is just 100 metres from ‘Le Vieux Bassin’, once home to port authority buildings but nowadays home to some charming restaurant terraces. The wooden St Catherine’s Church, built in 1500, is just 2 minutes’ walk in the opposite direction, passing art galleries and even more bars and restaurants. Guest rooms manage to combine ancient charm with contemporary furnishings, featuring facilities such as Jacuzzis and hi tech massage showers. There are no parking facilities onsite, but guests can use the public car park just around the corner from the building. Guests should note that this parking facility is not sually free, however.
