The family run La Foulerie Hotel Cahagnes is located in peaceful surroundings, just 800m south of the town centre and around 5 minutes’ drive from the A84. The proprietor’s continued hospitality ensures that this hotel remains one of the most popular in the region. He has not only painstakingly restored this beautiful farmhouse, which dates back to the 18th century, but he also continues to provide a most personal and attentive service. The farmhouse has three guest rooms - a double, a triple and a family room. All rooms have private bathrooms and high speed internet, with a communal kitchenette available to all guests; however, it is well worth sampling the excellent cuisine in the hotel dining room. Guests with their own vehicle can visit all of Normandy’s sites on easy daytrips. For example, Bayeux and its famous tapestry are just 30 minutes’ drive away.
