L’Orque Bleue Hotel - Montpellier

L'Orque Bleue Hotel, Sete, is a 19th century property which overlooks the Royal Canal. Tourism here centres on this canal and no less than 25 restaurants can be found within walking distance of these lodgings. A car is not the best way to get around the town, bicycles or walking should do the job, but there is secure underground parking for an extra fee. There is a lift to rooms on the 3rd floor, but the 4th floor is only accessible via a spiral staircase. Rooms come with a small balcony overlooking the quayside, as well as free wireless internet and TV. Breakfast is served in the dining room each morning, but nearby cafés offer plenty of variety. The town has a great arts heritage, with some interesting collections on show at the 1960s art gallery, located on a hill overlooking the port.
