Juan-les-Pins is located next to Antibes and in some guides it is referred to Antibes-Juan-les-Pins. Being in the French Riviera means Juan-les Pins hotels are marketed towards the wealthy but there is some good mid-range accommodation available. This tourist destination is a favourite for sailing enthusiasts, has a vibrant nightlife and hosts many events throughout the year. These include: the festival of Saint John in June; in July the jazz festival; in September the grape-pressing festival; in November the chestnut festival and December the Christmas log festival. All are popular but those in the summer result in some Juan-les Pins hotels having to turn people away. Being on the coast means there is no end of water related activities available including diving, parascending, waterskiing and fishing. Most hotels in Juan-les Pins will be able to make arrangements for you. A place worth visiting out of town with outstanding 360 of the area is Fort Carr on the Saint Roch peninsula.
