Hotel de France - Cahors

The Hotel de France is located on Avenue Jean Jaures, a couple of minutes’ walk from the main train station and just 500m from the Valentre Bridge (Pont Valentre). In fact, most guests staying at the hotel are tourists visiting this 700 year old UNESCO recognised bridge. Parking spaces in Cahors are usually at a premium, yet this hotel provides secure spaces at a reduced rate, located in a courtyard to its rear. Its 39 large rooms are all well equipped, with facilities such as international TV channels, air conditioning and free wireless internet as standard. The continental breakfast is not included in the price, but comes highly recommended. Travellers should make the effort to explore the narrow lanes and alleys of the ’old town’, around 10 to 15 minutes walk away on the opposite side of the city.

There is no restaurant at the hotel, however there is a local restaurant only few steps from the hotel.
