Situated on the coast of Normandy, to the south of Le Havre, is Honfleur a pretty and active fishing port. There is not a huge selection of hotels in Honfleur and those either near the town centre or with sea views are the best options. The town doesn’t look like it has changed much since the times of cobbled streets and 16th and 17th buildings were constructed. Whichever of the hotels in Honfleur you choose there is sure to be a good restaurant nearby. The best eateries are located near the wooden church of St Catherine where visitors can also find a great selection of galleries and on a Wednesday or explore the Saturday local markets. Other attractions include a number of museums and delightful gardens and walks near the mouth of the River Seine.
