Introduction to Grenoble - City Centre
A popular base for skiers in the winter and hikers in the summer, Grenoble serves as home to over 150,000, and even more in the busy ski months when the population booms. Grenoble hotels mostly cater to those who come to the city for skiing but they also see a large number of academic visitors on tripe to this French Alpine city’s universities. Away from the city are a number of ski stations set within the surrounding three mountain ranges, such as Autrans.
