Introduction to Ferney Voltaire, France
Ferney-Voltaire-Thoiry is really the two small French towns of Ferney-Voltaire and Thoiry, which are close to each other. They are located in eastern France close to the Swiss border and Lake Geneva. Hotels in Ferney-Voltaire-Thoiry are spread around the area, with some close to the towns and more of them close to the D884 motorway. Although Geneva Airport is in Switzerland there is a passenger entrance to it in France, at Ferney-Voltaire.
