Evian les Bains, the home of Evian mineral water, is a town in France. The town is located on the southern shore of Lake Geneva, opposite Lausanne in Switzerland. Accommodation in the town ranges up from backpacker’s hostels to luxurious five-star Evian les Bains hotels. A choice of Evian les Bains hotels is on Rue Nationale, which runs through the middle of the town. More Evian les Bains hotels are at the east end of Quai Baron de Blonay, facing out on the lake. Evian les Bains provides an opportunity for travellers to take a spa in the rejuvenating Evian waters. Spas are offered at some of the Evian les Bains hotels and also at the public spa on Place de la Liberation. Evian les Bains has one of Europe’s largest casinos. The casino when lit up at night offers an arresting sight. La Buvette Cachat is one of several interesting structures in Evian les Bains. A funicular railway climbs up the hill through the town offering wonderful views. Alternate views of Evian les Bains and Lake Geneva are provided by a cruise on the lake or by one of the frequent ferries to Lausanne.
