De La Cite Hotel St Malo - Saint Malo

The De La Cite Hotel St Malo is a charming residence, just 150 metres from the Cathedral of St Vincent and an hour’s drive from the famous monastery at Mont Saint Michel. All of its rooms come with air conditioning and wireless internet. Some rooms have magnificent sea views, while others face the busy street. St Malo is a sleepy city and noise generally doesn’t tend to be a problem. There is, however, an Irish pub opposite which can get lively at weekends so guests who are bothered by loud noise should choose one of the more expensive rooms facing the sea instead. Visitors to St Malo don’t need a car and simply strolling along the city walls is one of the best things to do here.

The hotel does not have a restaurant but clients can dine at the nearby sister hotel, De France & De Chateaubriand.

The hall is small but welcoming.To the left of the rounded Reception desk clients can relax in a cosy sitting area, decorated with flowery settees, traditional furniture and period prints. The more modernly furnished corner situated to the right of the Reception faces the staircase leading up to the breakfast room.

This traditional building was built in 1990 following the example of the surrounding architecture of the ship-owners of the 18th century.
