Introduction to Bordeaux - Bazas
Known for its striking Gothic cathedral, the French town of Bazas is a very worthy destination for travellers exploring the southwest corner of the country. This is Bordeaux territory, so visitors can expect excellent showings in the wine and food department, as well as some of the most scenic driving countryside in Europe. Many travellers stop by Bazas just to witness its extraordinary 13th-century cathedral in the centre of town. It's so special that UNESCO has named it a Heritage Site. The Sunday Morning Market, held in front of the church, is a highlight of this quaint little town. Also in the area are a number of magical chateaus, known as the Clementin Castles, which are open to visitors. White wine is the specialty of this particular corner of Bordeaux and a winery tour can easily be included in a day drive. Bazas hotels make the perfect base for exploring this pleasant region and are all conveniently located near the town's restaurants and shops.other spellings: bazas otel, bazas hotell, bazas hote, bazas hotle, hotes in bazas
