Introduction to Biarritz - Airport
Biarritz Airport is also called Biarritz - Anglet - Bayonne Airport, as it serves the other nearby French cities. The terminal is southeast of the city centre, which can be reached in only a few minutes, as it's only five kilometres away along the N10. The majority of domestic flights are operated by Air France, which flies to Paris, Marseille, Nice and Lyon, while EasyJet and other airlines connect with places such as Paris Charles de Gaulle, Rotterdam, Brussels, Dublin and Stockholm. Inside the terminal, the shops in the departure lounge provide a good selection of light reading, with newspapers and books. There is also a clothing store dedicated to surfing and beachwear. For food, Restaurant Le Fronton serves typical Basque Country dishes or, as the name suggests, Taste n Fly is for food on the go with a kiosk of sandwiches and drinks. Car hire is available in arrivals with all the main companies, and some Biarritz Airport hotels offer to collect passengers from the terminal. Other services include Wi-Fi and the Horizons Salons, which is a special waiting area where passengers pay a fixed price for internet, an open bar and premium lounge facilities.Visit our Biarritz Travel Guide
