The Beaufort Hotel Saint Malo is a boutique style property with plenty of character, located directly on the seafront. Parking can sometimes be a problem in this part of the city, but not here thanks to the sterling efforts put in by staff in finding suitable spaces for guests. The lodging is around 1.5kms from the historic city walls, with its creperies and seafood restaurants, but still far enough away to get some peace and quiet. All rooms come with private bathrooms and flat screen TVs, while the best come with their own spacious terraces. The cheapest rooms are on the city side, but more than half of its suites come with a sea view and are well worth the extra cost. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but the friendly staff members are more than helpful in providing local recommendations and assisting with reservations.
