By air: the city has its own international airport, located about 14kms from the centre. It receives international flights regularly and passengers can get an easy connection to the city centre by bus or taxi. Buses leave from the airport to the Market Square everyday while taxis are aplenty in front of the terminal.
By bus: buses are cheap and also run throughout the country. The Turku bus station is the station is located in the heart of the city.
By rail: if you plan to travel to Turku from other destinations in the country, catching a train is also a good option. There are two railway stations in Turku: the main railway station located in the city centre and the Kupittaa railway station about 1 kilometre from the city centre. There are services operating nationwide and from Sweden, Norway and Russia.
