One block of this original housing has been preserved as an open-air museum, offering a rare look at the communal lifestyle of Finnish factory workers at the turn of the century. There's actually a lot for tourists to see in Amuri. The Tempere Art Museum, Tempere Rock Museum and Moomin Museum are all here, as well as the Metso Main Library. Another very popular attraction is Sarkanniemi Amusement Park on the shores of Lake Nasijarvi.
