The town and municipality of Salo is located in Western Finland province, a little over 80kms from the county capital, Helsinki. It is most famous for being the base city of Nokia, the world renowned mobile phone company. However, there isn’t an awful lot to the city apart from this claim to fame. Nevertheless, there are a few hotels in Salo that provide wonderful services for guests.
